The foundation of total animal care is an annual comprehensive wellness exam. While you know your pet best, it's important to remember that dogs and cats can't communicate clearly and often fail to show symptoms of pain or illness, necessitating a periodic examination by your pet's veterinarian. 

We recommend regular vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea control, and deworming for your pet. Ask about our preventative services during your pets annual wellness exam.

Small animal dentistry has evolved significantly over the years, and so has our approach to treatment. While preventing buildup is the best approach, we recognize that a periodic anesthetized cleaning is appropriate for most pets.

We believe that responsible spaying and neutering of dogs and cats is an important component of veterinary medicine. We strongly encourage pet owners to take this step with their pets and we work hard to keep the procedures accessible, including our low cost program for neutering male cats. Other surgical procedures are available in consultation with one of our veterinarians.
