OUR DOCTORS

Dr. Ceremuga (formerly Dr. Bate) joined the team in 2012 and took over full ownership of Silver Creek Animal Clinic in September 2022. She graduated from Veterinary School at Colorado State University and completed a year long internship at Alpine Animal Hospital in Carbondale Colorado.

Dr. Ceremuga’s interests in veterinary medicine focus on providing high quality wellness care and maximizing her patients’ quality of life. Orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries are of particular interest to her, and she loves watching her patients recover from those procedures that alleviate their pain and improve their overall health and happiness.

Dr. Tangeman grew up in Sherwood, OR, graduated from Willamette University in 2010 and graduated from Oregon State University's Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. He moved to Silverton in 2013 while still in Veterinary school, and joined Silver Creek Animal Clinic in 2019.

Dr. Tangeman is interested in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and oncology. He has experience in preventative care, general practice, and emergency medicine. 

Dr. Flip joined Silver Creek Animal Clinic in October 2023. He graduated from Oregon State University's Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 and has lived in Silverton since 2019.

Dr. Flip's interests in veterinary medicine include all forms of surgical procedures, such as orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, as well as general practice and mixed medicine. 

 Dr. Knight joined the Silver Creek Animal Clinic team in August of 2024, a couple short months after graduating from Oregon State University's Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests include surgery, fear free medicine, and integrative medicine practices. 

 Outside of the office, Dr. Knight enjoys hiking with her loving partner, Derek, and their rescue dog, Django. Additionally, she loves to craft, bake, and thrift for vintage and antique treasures. 

Dr. Hokanson earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University in 2015 before completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at lowa State University in 2019. 

She has a strong professional interest in soft tissue surgery, pain management, and preventive medicine, and is passionate about delivering personalized, high-quality care to every patient she sees. Her goal is to support pet health through every life stage with a focus on comfort, wellness, and early intervention.

When she's not in the clinic, she enjoys hiking the beautiful trails of the Pacific Northwest and exploring local breweries with her friends and husband. Her love of animals, science, and community fuels both her professional and personal life.
